The Helicon Experience
The Helicon Experience. Designing the interaction at the Museum of Opera in Pisa - The scope of this project was to design specifically for a new haptic interface developed for the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo in Pisa, Italy. The scenario includes a VR world concept containing narrative threads and characters to support the use of a 'haptic' interface for the virtual museum. This haptic interface consists of a mechanical arm that allows the user to interact with the sculpture on-screen while feeling the shape of object in the user's hand.
