As a commercial artist no project is beneath me or beyond me - it's all a challenge to provide a creative solution. With 10+ years of experience as both a designer and art director, I'm able to provide visually dynamic design through great detail along with effective design management. I am a self-motivated, detail-oriented pro who enjoys working independently or as part of a team where the main goal is to help client's reach their marketing and advertising goals.
I acted as art director, lead designer, and project manager for the design and development of packaging displays for glove manufacturer. Effectively designed and created displays and hang tags, for various styles of gloves, to be sold in “Big Box” stores throughout the U.S. and Canada. I worked closely with the manufacturer, marketing, and buyer from concept thru production.
At BlueWater Agency I was a part of a team, sub-contracted by the Anteon Corp. for 6 years. As an integral part of the publication design team, I was responsible for numerous defense publications including the U.S. Navy’s: “Vision, Presence, Power,” the U.S. Marine Corps: “Concepts + Programs” and the OSD “Defense Installations Strategic Plan.” I provided project management, art direction and design services in coordination with Anteon Corporation, military liaisons, and GPO.
Led creative team in the development of the National Museum | United States Army logo and branding guidelines. Awarded work after competing against 4 other regional design firms. Logo designs were presented to the public on the National Mall and throughout the Capital.
