•2009-Present
Owner, Caribe Caribbean Bistro, Panelli Enterprises, LLC

Together with my husband, we started, own and operate Caribe Caribbean Bistro www.caribeMN.com , a small Caribbean restaurant in St. Paul, Minnesota. My responsibilities are primarily with social media marketing and website design, as well as administrative, secretarial, and extensive mural painting and interior design of the restaurant.


•1995-Present
Freelance Illustrator and Designer, Panelli Design

I design and illustrate from my home studio. Logo design, illustration, and graphic design. Clients include TREND Enterprises, SEE Programs, Wishblade, Rejuvenation & Renewal Centre, Prolatus Smart Solutions.


•1998-Present
Product Designer, owner and operator of BusyBodies, an online business selling unique apparel and gift items featuring my designs. http://www.StickFigureT-Shirts.com

I created the business, maintain the web site, advertise. I also create all the designs for the large selection of giftware, T-Shirts and apparel featuring various interests, hobbies, sports and activities. BusyBodies currently carries over 10,000 unique gifts.


•2001-2008
Sr. Designer/Illustrator at a TREND Enterprises, Inc.

I designed and illustrated print products for the education market including teaching aids, classroom decorations, activity books, posters, stickers, and a wide variety of supplemental learning materials for Kindergarten through Ninth grade. I specialized in realistic illustrations, cartoon vector art, scientific illustrations, and whimsical styles finished in Illustrator or Photoshop. Many projects were completed for press in Quark or InDesign. I also designed and assembled trade show booth displays, directed photo shoots and ensured print quality by attending press checks for all products I work on.

•2000-2005
Freelance Illustrator, Spectrum Studio (Artist Representative)

Created digital and hand drawn illustration for a wide variety of freelance projects from my home studio. Projects include plush toy design, novelty signage and holiday decoration design, poster design, illustration, a "bobble-arm doll" design, caricature and other projects for clients including International Dairy Queen, Minnesota Orchestra, Lifeway Christian Resource, & Impact Plastics.


•1999-2000
Graphic Designer, Koechel Peterson & Associates

Designed gift book covers, interiors, catalogs, and advertisements for major book publishers (Word, Zondervan, Harvest House, and others) and gifware companies. Applications used were Freehand, Quark, and Photoshop. Duties also included some hand drawn illustration, digital illustration, photo shoot direction and press checks.


•1998-1999
Airbrush artist, Air2BDifrent at ValleyFair! and the Mall of America.

Airbrushed custom art on T-shirts and giftware, demonstrated for the public, and managed booth operations for Kend Lind, a nationally know authority on airbrush art.


•1992-1999
Caricature artist, Richmond Illustration

I learned the art of caricature from Tom Richmond, an award-winning Mad Magazine caricature artist. While contracted with Tom, I drew and airbrushed caricatures for live audiences, drawing thousands of faces over several years! I drew at ValleyFair! amusement park, Mall of America, as well as numerous corporate picnics, functions, and parties.


•1992-1999
Independent Contractor Artist for the following entertainment companies: Happy Faces, A Touch of Magic, and Maund Entertainment.

I drew live caricatures at school parties, holiday parties, corporate events, Mall of America's Camp Snoopy amusement park and other events on a freelance basis.

Graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
4-year Degree earned: Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design.

College Credits earned in the London Summer Art program through UW-Stout at Goldsmiths College, London.

Continuing education in HTML & Dreamweaver at North Hennepin Community College.
