the shammas group identity package - logo development and identity system for the shammas group, a family business and parent company for several different companies, based in the petroleum building in downtown los angeles [an historic building built by the doheny family]. since they own and operate from the petroleum building, we made it the centerpiece for their identity system, headquartered in the top floor corner office.

Felix Chevrolet 90th Anniversary Promo - felix chevrolet is a downtown los angeles landmark, and 2011 marks their 90th year of business. to celebrate, we created a legacy logo in a style that celebrates their historic status, with a welcome kit for buyers during the anniversary year, including a travel mug, and a welcome kit full of fun road-trip ideas and service deals for new chevy owners.

Gerald Clayton: two-shade CD packaging - CD packaging for jazz artist Gerald Clayton, released by the Artist Share label. Two-Shade explores the balance of influences in musical experience, working with contradictions, harmonics, dissonance and compliments. The entire layout was done in 2 spot colors to keep the photos clean while adding a warm tone, and reinforce the two-shade theme.

My Father and I: A Minnesota Memoir, by Darryl Holter - 92-page full-color layout, using historic family photos and autobiographical text for multiple author and historian, Darryl Holter. The memoir covers a period from the 1920s to the late 1990s with a tone that looks forward, so the typography is a more modern style, while the imagery recalls home and childhood memories with ornamental-edged photos and knotty pine siding.
