Description

One of the twelve illustrations I created for the 2012 AutoWeek Magazine / Rad Rides by Troy / Studio PCK calendar, which launched this month at the 2011 SEMA Show.

For this Porsche, I drew inspiration from James Dean's Lil' Bastard, and created a modern speedster with some classic hot rod feel.

Illustrator artwork, starting with pencil sketch as always...

Thank you! It was fun to create the scene... It started with a photo of some knotty pine, some old sponges and a torn sheet of paper. I rediscovered the fun of collage on this project!
