I draw a lot of cars. I also provide full-service hot rod design and illustration, custom car, graphic and web design tailored to the custom automotive aftermarket, including logos, branding, project planning and research, and even apparel design. Need an ad, some copy, or a jump on social media? I do that, too.

My work has been published and featured in over one hundred magazines, as well as the 2012 AutoWeek Magazine/Rad Rides by Troy calendar. I have created designs for national, award-winning custom vehicles and feature cars for the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

To consistently raise the standard of automotive illustration and design, and to educate my clients as well as the public with regard to the labor and sacrifice required to create a work of fine art. Work Experience: 2/2006 - Present Art Director/Designer Problem Child Kustoms Studio Phoenix, AZ Launched a specialty art studio specializing in graphic, web and vehicle design. Created branding, logos, identity and complete websites for a variety of businesses in varying industries, and managed all projects from start to finish in-house. Currently completing contract assignment with world-wide toy manufacturer, launching four new lines of childrens and collectible toys, having created conceptual artwork, branding, and packaging for lines. I have utilized industry-standard software to create projects in digital media, as well as traditional design tools and media. I have designed for web, apparel, print, video, and interactive presentations, and am comfortable utilizing both Mac and PC platforms. I have been published in several automotive industry trade papers and periodicals, and currently act as design consultant on many high-profile hot rod projects and aftermarket product development. 6/2003 - 8/2006 Web/Graphics Designer *Company Confidential (please inquire for more information) Gilbert, AZ Created all print and electronic-based materials for advertising/marketing and promotions. Create all print advertising, copy and visual material. Design and maintain company website. Developed an entire marketing strategy from scratch, creating a brand identity for a local shop specializing in the customization of off-road vehicles. Created apparel designs for retail sale and promotional use, designed project vehicles, and acted as project manager for complete project builds, drawing on prior experience in the automotive parts field. Trained and led a team of web and graphic designers, as well as providing outside sales support for wholesale division. Was called upon to launch clothing line for company's spouse, creating apparel and advertising designs, as well as website and all related marketing materials. 3/2000 - 6/2003 Media Specialist *Company Confidential* (please inquire for more information) Phoenix, AZ Created all print and electronic-based materials for advertising/marketing/training and promotions. Create all print advertising, copy and visual material. Design and maintain company website. Developed an entire marketing strategy from scratch, assisting in the opening of new territories, and launching Commercial Bus sales line, resulting in increased revenue company-wide. Have developed national ad campaign and support network for school district vehicle purchase program. Created all technical training materials, including interactive displays/training resources/catalogs. Have developed not only a strong brand identity, but have forged a reputation for industry-leading ad campaigns for this 50+ year-old company. Acted as Inside Sales Support/Customer Service Liaison for Outside Sales representatives. Skills: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). I am well-versed in HTML and CSS, as well as utilizing Dreamweaver to further my web development. I am comfortable on both Mac and Windows, and have a background in Fine Art, with an emphasis on painting and drawing. Additional Information: I've worked tirelessly for over a decade to create a unique look for my work, combining traditional, hand-drawn methods with modern, digital techniques, and have been fortunate to work with the top shops and builders in the country, as well as providing design guidance for some tremendously talented private builders as well. I have had the pleasure of making friends with many talented and skilled builders, artists and photographers, and continue to be inspired by the vision all of these different people bring to their work and the industry. Along the way, I've been granted the opportunity to work on award-winning hot rods and custom cars, and witnessed both the sacrifices and glory that come part and parcel with this dynamic hobby and industry.
