Nola-drome
Nola-drome - The Nola-drome (New Orleans Velodrome) is the new flagship store for Trek bicycles. This project examines the tectonic and spatial possibilities of combining a velodrome, a racetrack for bicycles, within a retail environment. The Nola-drome uses long span custom steel members to lift the velodrome above the retail environment. With the help from some talented structural, mechanical and environmental engineers the building’s systems and assemblies have been highly developed.
