In our 3D modeling class we had to come up with a concept for a small digital camera and model in in Autodesk Alias. We needed two finished models, one that could be 3D printed into a shell that could fit together, and one to be rendered in Keyshot for presentation. We then had to create a brochure to show off the form and function of the device. My camera concept was selected, along with one other, from among 15 to be taken to Israel to the Objet headquarters, maker of the 3D printer that we used.
