When it comes to bios and summaries I like to keep things simple like my design and user experience. I just believe the easier you make things to use the better the user experience, resulting in a happier user. Whether it’s for a product or project, a client or an end user I favor simple over complex, easy over difficult and beautiful versus boring. I am goal driven, detail oriented and work in seamless synchronicity and harmony with a team or equally comfortably independently. I have over 18 years of experience designing web sites, user experience/user interface design, branding and illustrating since I was old enough to hold a crayon and smear fingers paints across my parents kitchen table. I have experienced many sides of the creative and interactive industries through agency and corporate environments in addition to running my own design company for the past 14 years. I’m highly skilled with the Adobe suite of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign but also have the ability to mix in some front end development with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. I have a true passion for design and in my spare time you can often find me running, hiking or biking in the outdoors. Specialties: UX/UI design, branding and identity, illustration, print design, web design, front-end web development
