Compression Knit Shoes

For this project I went to Shanghai to collaborate with circular knitting machine producer - Santoni. During two months, we were working intensely to develop new knitted shoe uppers.
Experimenting with the tube, I tried to imagine which look or feel I want to achieve. Some-thing light and fluid, engaging with the body. With lots of prototypes and many fittings, we developed a thigh high tubular piece with compression features. It follows bodylines and fits perfectly, giving support in any possible leg position.
