Palm

The theme for this project was 'rhythm'. I was inspired by the folds of palm leaves, which I studied through photographs.

The theme was translated into products exploring the concept of folds and resist dyeing.

Using the quality of folds to expand and contract, bags were designed, which lay flat when empty and opened up in the form of a palm leaf when filled.
