Savannah College of Art and Design / Student Researcher February 2011 – March 2011 Chosen by faculty as one of two graduate students for a sponsored research project investigating technical feasibility for an automated home cleaning device. tool, Inc. Product Design & Development / Mechanical Engineering Intern Utilized Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) techniques to cut production costs for Light Control’s commercial fluorescent light fixtures. Participated in ideation sessions, developed models, and drafted control drawings for clients such as Wordlock, Thule, and Burton Snowboard’s Red line of protective equipment. October 2009 – December 2009 (3 months)
