About
My name is Tom Pritchard. I am the winner of the Young Engineers of Britain’s Innovation Award, a runner up in a national Sustainability Competition and a Tibbenham award from the Cast Metals Federation. I pride myself in my ability to satisfy briefs and carry designs from initial development through to manufacture.
I am currently studying a BSc in Product Design at Loughborough University and looking for a year's placement starting this year (09).

I am someone who understands the importance of design, enjoys pushing boundaries but still has the knowledge to develop ideas into viable, easily manufactured and marketable products.
I am a keen, enthusiastic person who is inspired and motivated by the people around me. I am always eager to learn new skills and develop old ones and work very well as a part of a team.
Skills
Highly developed IT skills, can run automated CNC machinery (trained on Haas mills and lathes), very well developed hand carpentry and metalworking skills.
Fully capable in CAD programs (Solidworks, ProEngineer), Word Processing, Desktop Publishing, image manipulation.
Natural people skills.
