Eric Gagné - In 2002, a burly Canadian pitcher named Eric Gagné started racking up saves for the Los Angeles Dodgers. But his 95-mph heater and devastating off-speed stuff didn't tell the whole story. With his trademark goggles and bushy goatee, Gagné was a marketing sensation ready to happen. I created the "Game Over" logo for the Dodgers along with several items of merchandise. The design has received national attention, including air time on ESPN and write-ups about the logo in ESPN The Magazine and the Los Angeles Times.
Identity/Logo Design - Identity design is my specialty. You see, I won’t just plop down a few fonts and call it a day. In most instances, type is created and/or tweaked to give a mark it’s own character and uniqueness. Whether you’re in need of a new identity package or a special commemorative mark, I have the tools, talent and know-how to give your company a logo that’s second-to-none.
Large Format - I have to admit, I’ve had the opportunity to work on some pretty cool projects—but the coolest has to be designing the famed Dodger Stadium outfield wall in 2003 & 2004. I also was asked to design the player murals on the inside and outside of the stadium and all ancillary signage fans would see upon entering the stadium parking lot. I've also designed banners and signage for Team LA stores and AIDSRidesUSA. Large format design is a unique animal…so know that for (literally) big projects, you’re in capable hands.
Merchandise Design - For three years, I designed products for the team that topped Major League Baseball in in-stadium sales—and I’d like to think I had some small part in that! I’ve also worked closely with AIDSRidesUSA, the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day and AVP Pro Beach Volleyball. From t-shirts to buttons, caps to pennants, I’ve pretty much seen it all. Designing for unique applications like screenprinting, embroidery and sublimation is second-nature to me!
Packaging/Promotional - I have extensive experience working in the complex world of packaging, from gate folds to getting the color correct on metal or terry cloth (harder than you think!). Be it a fleece blanket or a bobblehead box, I can help. If you’re in the market for a dynamic package or promotional concept with some “oomph,” look no further.
