Light - The inspiration for this lamp was sustainability and how we as designers could start to make small changes. An obvious place to start would be by altering attitudes and encouraging consumers to keep products beyond a change in trends.
The lamp is a response to my own investigation into how creating a greater interaction between the product and user could extend the perceived longevity of a product.

The simple design and intuitive features allows the user to adjust the light to almost any position using no mechanical fixings, this allows the user to encounter a more hands on experience with the product. The lamp uses gravity to stay in position, with the added help of a nylon insert that I designed to add stability and allow for a smoother transition when adjusted.
