Company : Abu Dhabi Vegetable Oil Co., Abu Dhabi, UAE
Position : Print Media Incharge
Period : January 2000 to June 2001


Job Profile :
Worked with Abu Dhabi based ADVOC, a well-known Edible Oil producer catering to the Middle East.

My duties and responsibilities included :

* Handling in-house designing and development of packaging material for the company and development of new designs for labels & packaging material of new products, updates on current brands.

* Designing of the advertisement campaigns and special offers for our company, pamphlets & posters.

* Liaison with printing and packaging houses and making design for visiting cards, letterheads and brochures & artwork for the Marketing department.


Company : International Development Company, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Position : Project Supervisor
Period : Oct. 1998 to January 2000

Providing Back File Conversion (BFC) services to ADNOC TRO, Ruwais, for approx. 1 million large and small format drawings, handbooks, manuals etc. The operation, involved indexing and scanning these documents in preparation for EDMS of ADNOC.

My duties and responsibilities included :
* Assigning tasks to BFC team and reporting to the Operation Manager.

* Checking and sorting the incoming documents, creating queries, forms & reports, Scanning the documents using VIDAR large format and
the high-speed, multi-hop B&H A3/A4 scanners.

* Checking the duplications/discrepancies of records and standardizing them in the Access Database and maintaining the directory
structure of images in proper order, besides general data administration.

* Worked with IDC for designing the corporate stationery for the company viz. Letterhead, Visiting Card, Envelope besides handling MIS.



Company : Free-lance DTP work
Period : December 1992 to Sept. 1998

During the above period, free-lanced with a Service Bureau, providing Desk Top Publishing services. Jobs undertaken included designing
& printing of letterheads, visiting cards, brochures, serial & feature film scripts, synopsis, project reports, thesis, dissertations etc. A few
notable clients included Shabana Azmi, Govinda, Vijayendra Ghadge, Anu Kapoor, Anusree Dutt, producer Kawal Sharma, among others.

Worked with Mukul Pictures for "Numbri Aadmi" and M.R.Films during the making of "Akayla".
