About
I am an organizational leader and personable manager with hands-on experience as a mechanical engineer and as a manager of hardware engineering teams (incl electrical and embedded software). I’m particularly adept at innovation and brainstorming, and very familiar with designing for manufacture with cost, schedule and quality as the trifecta to success. I am also a highly effective program lead with a consistent track record of anticipating design consequences, initiating solutions, and advancing products to market. Time spent at manufacturing sites globally, excellent at communicating across language barriers and managing overseas resources. Interested in designing gratifying product experiences for customers, consumers and stakeholders.

Co-FounderMarteau MedicalStanford, CAMay 2016 - Present (10 years 1 month)Developed a Single Lung Ventilation (SLV) Endotracheal Tube (ETT) that facilitates the deflation of one lung to optimize surgical conditions while still allowing for fiber-optic scopes or other surgical equipment to be deployed to the operative lung. The design is an attractive solution for neonatal patients (presently not possible given current SLV ETT designs due to size) while being equally viable for adults and can be utilized post-op for ventilating for both lungs without reintubating the patient (which is common practice when using current embodiments for SLV).
