About

Having returned to school to study design after several years working in software development and related fields, my approach to design is inherently multidisciplinary. I have a solid liberal arts education, more than 10 years of professional work experience, and deep technical knowledge in addition to an MA in design. I teach SolidWorks for industrial design and specialize in design visualization.

? Develop, model, and document a sustainable, modular building system used in schools and other buildings nationally, primarily using SolidWorks. Reduced steel kit complexity (number of unique parts) by 88%, weight by 60%, on-site construction time by 50%. Primary technical contact for steel manufacturer.
? Wrote in-house BOM and documentation extensions to SolidWorks in order to improve product design team’s workflow.
