- As the Engineering Operations Manager at TNI Manufacturing, I oversee all day to day activities relating to the production of precision injection molded plastic components for various clients ranging from diverse industries such as medical devices to electronic components. Reviewing client designs to determine manufacturability, designing fixtures and manufacturing aids, CNC programming, and molding press set up are all typical functions I must perform. Maintaining a flawless quality system is of utmost importance, as we work toward gaining ISO-13485 certification. My career has had me turning over new leafs for the past few years, and this new challenge is by no means any different.

Goode Consulting International December 2007 - July 2010

- As a consultant with Goode Consulting International, I worked at Boston Scientific supporting various areas throughout the facility, with projects ranging from designing machines and fixtures used for the manufacturing of specialty medical devices, to updating tool and product drawings.

Urbanus Furniture, Miami, FL
June 2005 - August 2007

- As a furniture designer at Urbanus Furniture, I conceptualized and developed fine furnishings and home accessories for various large national retailers (Crate & Barrel, Room & Board, Ethan Allen, Storehouse), contract, and custom applications. My key responsibilities included generating technical drawings for prototyping and manufacturing, creating visual presentations for client meetings, as well as managing various work to be distributed among internal design team and several vendors based upon vendor-specific capabilities (size of operation, equipment, technologies, turnaround time). I achieved in developing cost effective and time saving manufacturing methods by working alongside in-house production team and vendors. I also reviewed prototypes and ensured that our quality standards were met, and that products maintained within cost standards for target price set by clients.

Grafton Furniture, Dania Beach, FL
October 2004 - June 2005

- As a drafter at Grafton Furniture, i was responsible for generating technical drawings for new and existing furniture lines, as well as creating visual presentations for client meetings. Occasionally, I also prepared quotes for clients and performed field measurements for various custom built-in furnishings, as well as maintaining clients updated on the status of their order.

Reflex Design, Inc., Ft. Lauderdale, FL April - June 2005

- Interning at Reflex Design provided me with a valuable opportunity to receive hands-on work experience at a well rounded and established product design firm with a wide range of global clientele. I was involved in concept generation and SolidWorks modeling for various projects.

Niche Doors, Dania Beach, FL January - March 2005

- As an intern at Niche Doors, i had an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the high-end furnishings industry first hand. My main responsibilities included the design and development of new products, documenting new and existing product line, taking field measurements, preparing quotes for clients, and working alongside the production team to ensure products were delivered in a timely manner, and that the client’s expectations were met.
