Ariel Sundel is a product development and mechanical design engineer, in pursuit of a Master of Engineering Design and Innovation degree at Northwestern University. After working for six years as a New Product Development Mechanical Engineer at Motorola Solutions, she is currently furthering her product design skills, with an emphasis on the fuzzy front-end aspects of human-centered design for consumer products and services, including ethnographic research, rapid prototyping, and graphic and interaction design.
Her varied background and experience have taught her that good design flows through every aspect of a product, from concept to production. She also values shared understanding and effective communication between each person involved in the process. She plans to use her knowledge and skills to develop high-quality, innovative consumer products and solutions.
