Benson received his BFA in graphic/industrial design from the Univ. of Michigan in 1998. In 2006 Benson received his MFA from the University of with a concentration in design and social responsibility. His graduate research is available at www.re-nourish.com, which provides a depository for practical information about sustainable materials and design theory. He is currently an Assist. Professor of Graphic Design at the University of Illinois.
