Richard Hodgett
I am an engineering PhD student who has a deep interest in design, innovation and product development. In 2008 I completed a MEng in Product Design and Development at Queens University Belfast. I am currently working on a PhD at Newcastle University in the school of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials.

- 1st prize in a competition to design an innovative video for inspiring creativity (marketing and business planning). I came first in this module with an overall mark of 86% - In a team of 4 (Synergy) we designed a device for the medical industry becoming a finalist of the 25k Design competition.
