The Mashburn Family Discovery Trail
A 1-mile all-access nature trail.
Project management and design. Lead content development and script development with in-house staff. Designed interactives and structures, including bridges and seating areas.. Detail drawings and construction administration of all interactives. Graphic design for all panels. Worked with land management on the design and installation of the trail and bridges to meet federal guidelines for trail construction. Lead focus groups to incorporate features for the visual impared and coordinated formative evaluation (with Beverly Serrell) through the process of design. Worked with the Development Director on grant application for the trail, which recieved $150,000 from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
