Paintings: The Headcase Showcase

The Headcase Showcase - a solo showcase I hosted at a gallery located here in Cleveland, OH. These are works I had conceptualized for some time. The focus being dark, deranged, and demented.

Full Size (highres_width x highres_height)
"Deadhead" - a zombie-inspired piece mixed in with the local paper's funny pages.
Full Size (highres_width x highres_height)
"Dollface" - done while listening to "Doll Parts" by Hole.
Full Size (highres_width x highres_height)
"Hawkface" - venetian inspired, but the title is an inside joke.
Full Size (highres_width x highres_height)
"FourEyes" - more so how I see myself if I were older, in a steampunk phase, and pretty.
Full Size (highres_width x highres_height)
"Headcase" - beauty, color, and torture devices.
Full Size (highres_width x highres_height)
"Spacecase" - this concept was obvious to me as a sci-fi enthusiast. Also influenced by Ace "the space case" Frehley.
Full Size (highres_width x highres_height)
"Headbanger" - evoking how I felt after a Deftones concert some years ago.
"Moana" - my own cliche digital rendition of the Mona Lisa, the words morphed in the background are the words Walter Pater stated when he first saw the painting (Da Vinci's... not mine) "She is older than the rocks among which she sits; like the vampire, she has been dead many times, and learned the secrets of the grave; and has been a diver in deep seas, and keeps their fallen day about her"
