Toys like Bakugan and LEGO's Bionicle are a lot of fun because they combine a transforming, techie look that boys like with the appeal of magical elements that have proved popular in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Pokemon, and Skylanders. / With Minx, my aim is play up the functionality of the elemental side of the toy. Rather than simply paint a character and associate it with the air element, the concept below focuses the element with something unique, such as moving wings.
