Something tells me this would never land me a restoration job. Original 1903 painting by unknown artist Eugene Dejins 26x34. She had a real bad attitude. Had a few hours to whip her into shape. Added bird, flowers in hair, jewelry, rouge, lip tint, beauty mole, peacock feather eyelashes, throne chair and brightened collar, added color depth and shadowed for overall depth.

Fairytale18x36 - what was supposed to be more neo-classical style turned into tongue-in-cheek when shadowing her rib and background paint was pulled through at 3am. That and realizing there was no room for ankles and feet led me to just have fun with it vs. start over. Devil man is running away with her rib bone (Eve) and her blue sequin maryjanes while cupid up above is trying his best to counterattack.
I had a white "cottagy" dining set I used as a painting studio. Spray painted aged bronze metallic on it and added golf leaf details of vines, leaves and butterflies. Table top detailing took an hour. Was not up for dedicating more authentic Chinoiserie design details to it nor spending money to add a faux marble slab.

In a chinoiserie phase to both practice ideas and fill spaces around my place. Working on a black lacquered dresser now. 20x20 lavender metallic background with silver branches.

I was told that uploading paintings would provide additional creative support and expression. I painted and created floor plans as a child but did not return to either until I was 32. I do not call myself an artist, more of a creative visualist who needs to put what I see and feel on to paper, computer or canvas. This applies to furniture, tile, wallpaper, lighting and rug designs as well. I paint to express an emotion or to decorate without paying thousands.
