Main Entrance to the Gallery opening in Hong Kong
Launch show for the exhibition at the power Station of Art in Shanghai, the first state-financed contemporary Art Museum
Branding to the building exterior along with a concurrent marketing drive made a highly visual and distinctive identity to promote the exhibition
Large scale projections, lighting, furnishing and materials combined to recreate an environment reminiscent of Andy Warhols Factory during the Studio 54 Disco era.
Branding opportunities were interwoven throughout the building to reinforce BNY Mellon's relationship with the Andy Warhol foundation and sponsorship of the tour
Purpose designed staging, graphic and multi-media converged with actors to recreate cultural icons performances that Warhol reflected through his work
Michael Jackson, a frequent subject of Walhol's later work is remembered through an impersonator who electrified the audience with a choreographed dance performance
Assembled guests were given the opportunity for their own '15 minutes of fame' with polaroid momento's of the evening
As guests arrived the speeches and presentations gave way to music and dance. A highlight was the reveal of a 2 meter mirror ball from the ceiling to recreate an environment reminiscent of 70's-era legendary discothèque Studio 54.
Reception counters for assembled guests, media and VIP's
Decorative flourishes and gallery installations worked seamlessly throughout the opening events. The shows eventually toured Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo

Event - BNY Mellon Andy Warhol Asia Tour

BNY Mellon, multinational banking and financial services corporation was the chief sponsor of the largest collection of Andy Warhol’s work to tour Asia curated by The Andy Warhol Museum.
Showcasing BNY Mellon as the chief sponsor of the exhibition this was a celebration to mark the 25th anniversary of Andy Warhol’s death. Talking the theme ‘15 Minutes Eternal', I developed the concept and design implementing it across 5 sites in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo.
With over 500 works of art, the shows were the biggest and most extravagant exhibition of Warhol’s art in Asia creating a ‘must-see experience’ for art and culture lovers in each of the cities they were exhibited in.
