Doodlers Table - A 2-week design challenge at school. Rendered in Rhino... This is a coffee table topped with a giant Magna-Doodle drawing surface. Great for kids or to leave a message for the flat-mate. Pens and markers are tipped with varying sizes/strengths of magnets to emulate their natural strokes. An eraser bar is placed underneath for a quick, fresh canvas.
bench designs - these two designs won the local boone bench design competition. one is being constructed now to place at the entrance park to the town. the other may be placed on king street ("the strip" if you will) at a later date. the benches had to relate to boone in history, culture, or nature.

Wired Sconce - This is a sconce i created for the laser-cutting website Ponoko. It packs and ships flat, is durable, and the sandblasted shade distributes the harsh light from the compact florescent bulb

Cedar Coffee Table - This is a table that is similar to a line my grandfather started on back in the 60's. I think he was inspired be George Nakashima. My grandfather made one for each of my sisters and my parents but made me create my own. I'm saving to get some nice pics. It is made of the cedar wood that was left when a tornado tore down his fathers house in the 60's. Clear resin for the top and poly for the base.

Tongue Soap - This was a group project for my Design for Manufacture class. The class was given the task of designing, producing, and selling a product locally. After soap was decided upon as a group various group positions were voted upon. I was voted Lead Designer and Chief Engineer. A local goats-milk soap base was dyed red and pored into a rack of plaster molds. The molds were created with a tongue I shaped from clay.
