Branded communications are driving the user experience and it's all about engagement. Content is king and if it is not "built-to-share" it's probably missing it's mark. The model I developed in graduate school keeps media simple, snackable and culturally viable. The content can't just push products it has to create value that at least entertains so that it is shared in conversations and passed along through social networks. Building branded content strategies is the core of what I do. Researching industries reveals opportunities to differentiate. Knowing the culture allows media strategies to develop effective communications at the right time so that they are not see as clutter. Then it's all down to story telling and responsive communications that cap off the experience. I've got agency experience. I've even started my own business in the past. I've gotten through graduate school and like everyone else I'm looking for the next big step.
Big Sister Association of Greater Boston
I'm a creative for hire in the New York area. I've been here since Saturday, the 24th of March and I'm eager to get working.
I'm doing advertising, brochure and trade show work for an association management.
I am Assisting the Web Manager Post and complete the site for the oncoming show in 2012. I also send out all the email blast for the show.
I freelanced here on the PMA Campaign
I designed and maintained weekly sections of the news paper.
Designed everything that was requested of me.
I interned for Professor Basil during the winter quarter, and Professor Lott and spring quarter. The Classes I TA’d for were Art Direction and Typography. My responsibilities included the creation of assignments, rubrics, and lectures. I was also responsible for study hours, class critiques and grading.
Verrochio is a nickname for an artist that was thought to possess true vision and a mastery of his craft. That was ultimate goal for the company that I started. I managed projects for ten clients and worked with other companies and freelancers to create brands, web sites and advertisements. I handled everything from accounting to account management as well as developing all the design.
Regardless of my title, I contributed to everything designed by this agency from corporate brands and identity packages to CD ROMS and interactive web sites and print advertising. It was a great job while it lasted where I was involved in client presentations, concept development and of course as much production work as and college graduate would expect to handle. R+D folded and I moved on to working independently.
I kept all the Bartenders and Waitresses happy while they schlepped booze to their patrons. Occasionally had to kick out anyone disrupting good times.
