Nightsafe - Navigational Buoy

This buoy design is designed for use in small harbours, estuarys, and inland waterways. It emits a bright light at night, increasing visibility and therefore safety. Instead of being powered by replaceable batteries, or solar panels that can become less effective when dirty it uses an innovative Piezoelectric system that uses waves and motion of the buoy to power its LED lights. This project is currently undergoing further development.
