_Complete and manage projects with design and development processes from project brief to final production. This process entails extensive market and consumer research, competitive product analysis, rapid visualization, conceptual / realistic illustrations, design detailing, prototype fabrication, user analysis, ergonomic assessments, pricing evaluation before the production phase.
_Recruit, train and supervise product design interns. Help support and identify projects and key areas of focus for their own professional development.
_Generate and present complex product concepts, refined samples and computer aided drawings to clients, project managers and upper management.
_Work with development to maintain product timelines for numerous projects at once.
_Daily communication with our overseas development team discussing sampling, materials, revisions of projects and anything else that may need to be addressed during the development phase of a project.
_Attend annual North American and European trade exhibitions and complete retail auditing with a focus in consumer electronics, house wares and action sports industries to research new technological developments and identify emerging trends.
_Frequent travel overseas to work closely with our venders and development team to develop and finalize products.
_Attend numerous North American and Global sales meetings to represent the design team and field any questions that may arise.

Lead design consultant for the Denver based startup Revolar. Tasked in figuring out the original aesthetics and final function of their first product launch - The Revolar Personal Safety Device.

_Product designer for the world’s largest producer of soft-sided insulated goods. Products include backpacks, messengers, cooler bags, lunch bags, hydration bottles and diaper bags.
_Daily correspondence with Chinese manufacturers throughout the entire development process.
_Produce and present material that effectively communicates concepts for internal and external audiences.
_Traveled on multiple development trips to factories in Southern and Northern China, helping to finalize product lines, source new materials and find new factories.

_Designer for the 2nd largest global inflatables manufacturer in Shanghai, People's Republic of China.
_Design pool toys, inflatable furniture, air mattresses, kids play pools, and camping accessories.
_Work closely with engineers to generated new product development
_Work hands on in the prototyping lab to explore new and innovative shapes for new product development.
