For 12 years, I have been designing for companies and organizations such PacSun, OC Partnership, Re/Max Int., the City of Irvine and Bite Size Media, to name a few.
Los Angeles based independent design studio specializing in logo and brand identity design, and illustration. Clients include, Lakeshore Learning Materials, Century 21, Re/Max and Pacific Sunwear.
Originally brought on to consult as an illustrator, I was soon doing graphic design as well. Projects included, package and logo design for learning toys and materials, plus character design, storyboarding and illustration for Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) games.
Originally hired to do graphic design, I quickly excelled at handling all areas of media design within IHC, including print, branding, environmental graphics and video. I also kept and maintained relationships with all the various vendors and the individual ministry leaders.
Arriving as a contracted designer, I attained the role of Newsong’s full-time designer within weeks of starting. With strategic planning, I and the Art Director successfully came in under budget for Newsong’s annual leadership conference in ’08 by designing a stress ball with the registration url; saving $4,000 in printing costs. My duties included designing for print, web and signage, but also serving the North OC, L.A., and Mexico City sites.
I came onboard as a designer to the Marketing Director, but earned the title after expanding our services to local business and entrepreneurs, as opposed to just real estate professionals; gaining notoriety within the community and higher gross profit margins. I oversaw operations, production, two designers and met with clients to plan their marketing solutions, while still designing. I took the company from direct-mail to a full marketing solutions company in 2 months.
