In addition to being co-owner, I performed the roles of solution architect, lead designer, programmer and social media specialist.
As solution architect, I provided the 'technical close' on prospective projects. And, from there, executed the strategies to fulfill the clients project requests. This included expounding upon the base concepts brought to us by clients, defining the technical procedure of accomplishing each project, and establishing the overall strategy, design and vision the project would take.
Centralizing each client program on user-experience helped to ensure that the client's vision met with actual, real-world success. Fusing conceptual strategies, best-practices, and cutting edge design and development, each project was a labor of love and was met with great success for the recipients.
Co-founder and CTO of Tricycle Consulting. We believe that marketing is simple; not that the processes are simple necessarily ... but that being empowered to engage your audience and take advantage of the tools/skills necessary to maximize the benefits of that experience can be not only simple changes to make, but rewarding and fun as well!
In addition to being a managing partner, I performed as the solution architect and graphic designer over web and interactive media. Additionally, I produced the majority of the interactive programs and content for our clients.
Flat Planet was a web development company founded by myself and Ben Whitaker. We developed mid to high-end web services (websites, rich Internet applications etc) for our clients across the nation. Flat Planet emphasized pushing the envelope of user experience. Often, that compelled us to develop using cutting edge or cloe to cutting edge technologies. Rather than forcing our clients to accept the latest/greatest, we helped them to find ways to use new technologies to their advantage with a strict eye on increasing efficiency with regard to their online presence.
Flat Planet was acquired by BlueLine Grassroots Marketing in October of 2006.
I am now an equal partner/owner of BlueLine and head of the interactive department; I design Flash, do actionscript (learning by the seat of my pants at the moment) and manage the user-experience development of the content we produce for our clients.
