Ahmedabad, Gujarat MAJOR PROJECTS IN DESIGN Exploring material, texture and surfaces to come up with a form by creating a textured surface out of materials appropriate for the same. (Material used - Wire Mesh) Craft - Glass jewellery to create a range of glass jewellery by taking an inspiration and developing form for the same. (Inspiration taken - Bengal Tiger) Recycling - Object for personal adorment to create object for personal adornment from industrial waste which included field visits and building consumer profile. Desined a bag from felt waste from Felt Industries, Vadodara, Gujarat. Textile Jewellery to take an inspiration and come up with a jewellery set using any textile medium. Material used - Felt Form to make contemporary forms from thermocol and convert it into a product. Designed a LED lighting for homes. to create an Agarbatti stand making it better and more user freindly in comparison with the chosen agarbatti stand Visual Merchandising devised internal merchandising of a Lifestlye Store - Options. Created a shadow display for a book to increase its point of sales in any store. Designed lifestyle products from sheet metal. Luggauge Carrier designed a luggauge carrier for coolies within the railway premises for better lagguage handling. Milk Boiler Designed a milk boiler which will hellp prevent milk from spilling off without creating mess in the kitchen. Specially kept in mind the Indian housewife. Creative Methods 1. to explore materials like wood and metal and understand the various joining and cutting techniques 2. to explore materials like Brass and Copper and create various joinery techniques used for jewellery. For e.g. - hanging, joining, enclosing, holding, ornamentation and texture 3. to create a bottle opener cum crown collector inspired from the form of a sea horse having the essence of a sharpner.
