Exterior Rear View - When viewed from the opposite, the infinity edge on the pool creates the illusion that the pool goes on and on into the intracoastal waterway. The tile is an iredescent mosaic. The house was situated to take full advantage of views from every direction.
Foyer - In the distance you see a commissioned piece of art that is so unbelieveably detailed and three dimensional. The dramatic 24 foot high dome with drywall stepped detail is covered in a deep purple venetian plaster. The chandelier is completely glass from Italy. The table is glass with crushed glass along the inside top and a polished stainless steel base.
Main Staircase - The brazilian coin torso greets you as you start your journey to the second floor. It sits on a frosted glass pedestal. The walls throughout have recessed brushed stainless steel baseboards. The staircase is covered in hand selected white thassos marble with a polished stainless handrail and curved glass railing.
Living Room - This room with all of it's glass, truly brings the outside in. The barrel chairs have a perforated metal base with navy leather and white leather piping. The wave bench mimics the waves just outside the window. The whimsical rug was custom designed in wool and silk.
Dining Room - This 2 story high living room is very dramatic. The recessed wall is covered in an apple green venetian plaster. It creates a wonderful backdrop to highlight the artwork. The ledge below it is layers of granite with a beveled "V" joint where they are laminated together. It appears to float on the wall. The wood columns are in a high gloss finish with recessed polished stainless steel reveals. The dining table was customed designed. The chairs are in a deep purple brushed buffalo hide.
Powder Room - The countertop is 8 pieces of glass laminated together. The glass looks more green like natural glass in person. The cabinet is in a high gloss sapelle wood. The walls look textured, but are completely smooth. They are covered in venetian plaster. The LCD t.v. is actually a reflection in the mirror. It is over to the right side across from the commode.
Family Room - The fireplace is the focal point of this room. Horizontal bands of Blue Bahia and Absolute Black granites make a statement. The high gloss figred mahogany cabinet houses the AV equipment for this technological advanced home. The granite and wood cocktail table is a practical choice in this daily used room. Recessed lighting is strategically placed. Indidrect lighting gives the room a soft glow in the evening. Side-by-side Thermador ovens are in the distance in the kitchen.
Breakfast Room - This room just off the kitchen is the closest to the patio and pool. The colors were chosen selectively to bring the outdoors in. An area of the patio on the right was dedicated to house a double chaise / daybed with white curtains that could be drawn for privacy. You can see a glimpse of the spa that overflows into the pool as well as the grotto that has a waterfall in the pool.
His Office - This room is completely round. The leaded glass panels on the entrance doors were designed to mimic the curves throughout. Dark blue, black and high gloss crotch mahogany distinguish his office. Deep blue draperies soften the room while motorized shades control the light.
The Loft - This room is the most fun in the house. It is cool with it's mod chairs and swiveling tiered glass cocktail table. The curvy sofa follows another drywall detail on the ceiling. The curved glass on the left side peeks into His Office on the first floor. The custom rug anchors the sofa and chairs.
Master Bedroom - The wall behind the bed is covered in black sueded buffalo hide. The different textures of the fabrics create some dimension. The indirect lighting casts a soft warm glow.
Master Sitting Room - The indirect lighting and step details continue into this room. The chaises are so inviting! The soft chenille and taffeta silk are so rich in color. The shag rug helps with keeping the warmth in this grand room. The figured sycamore cabinet houses a pop up plasma that swivels between this room and the master bedroom. There are intracoastal views from everywhere in this room.
Master Bath - Opulence is th only word to describe this room. The vanities are in a high gloss figured sycamore. The countertops, floor & entire shower behind the columns are in light green onyx. Hand selected white thassos surrounds the tub. The wall above the vanities is covered in frosted glass. A custom glass panel divides the shower from the rest of the room.
