Most projects involved crucial interdisciplinary collaboration. John Carroll University – Cleveland, Ohio Interior Design Assistant– June 2009 to August 2010 Assisted the staff interior designer in the redesign of student dormitory lounges with focus on sustainability and budget; coordinated multiple meetings with the donor, interior designer, residence life director, solar panel consultant and architect. Crate and Barrel – Cleveland, Ohio Design Assistant and Sales Associate – July 2007 to July 2008 and December 2010 Worked directly with store designer to create and maintain an appealing retail environment by designing window displays, arranging merchandise, moving retail fixtures, creating signage, placing props and adjusting lighting throughout the store. MTS Seating – Temperance, Michigan Design Intern – June to September 2006 Worked with lead designer to develop new furniture designs through illustrations and 3D models; created custom laser cut chair-back artwork with customer logos; designed and built an original, full-size task chair out of recycled material.
