artist in media

objective: my work is a probing into the ways images are transformed as icons into the “substance” of media-language: as an index, bit, and pixel. a transmedia universe of sensory stimulation with a storyteller in the center. i have 4+ years of working with new-york arts and non-profits as a designer as well as developing my own of performance portfolio. i am ever growing as an artist and continue to innovate where i go.

2005-2008 owner, paintmixer studio. independent designer in print and web.
my clients include batsheva dance co. in israel as well as a number of artists, galleries and non-profits in new-york.

2005-2007 Makor gallery, 92 St. Y
In-House graphic designer for Makor Gallery and Makor Artists Networks,
Makor Artist-in-Residence program, MAN networks website.
I worked directly with the program' director, the 92 St Y web team and
independent curators for each art-exhibit.
During my work there, we’re trying to re-define the meaning of young
Jewish culture and re-brand it with contemporary and cutting edge arts
image. My work extended to Makor Film and Makor Judios Latinos.
The gallery exhibit plan 2006-2007 include collaboration with Consulate
general of Israel in New York, Friends of Bezalel, Sotheby's, Pace
Wildenstein Gallery, Broadway Gallery, Haven Arts Gallery,
Archicule.com, Home Base Project, Block Magazine, Artis.

performed a solo storytelling at tikkun shavuot, alma new-york between jcc and the 92 st y on a yellow school bus through central park at night.
