It changes colours every few hours from green to blue to a red and blinking to inform about the job opportunity. The worker is given a limited amount of time to respond to the job request, within which if he responds with a yes (green button), he receives the job details in white light with an audio clip and printed details.
If the worker accepts the job, he receives the job description and reporting time as audio and print.

Aasha Ki Kiran - Physical App

Aasha ki kiran (A ray of hope) is a project concept to connect daily wagers and employers to make employment easier.

The employer can send an online request for daily wager/s (hypothetically on dailywager.in) with the work details. This will reach the workers' houses with the lighting of the lamp. The worker can accept or reject the request. On accepting it, he/she will get the required details and reporting time as audio and print.

This project was featured at Unbox festival 2013, Delhi.
