We are proud to announce the arrival of a new member of the Coroflot family - Coroflot Magazine! It is a bi-monthly publication featuring the work of Coroflot members, each issue revolving around a different theme within the arena of creative work. We start it off here with the work of 9 members. If you are interested in participating in the next issue, send an email to "magazine -at- coroflot.com" with a link to your Coroflot portfolio!

We added 'commenting' over the weekend and as simple as this seems, it was a tough call conceptually deciding who should be allowed to post a comment. We agreed for the launch that you need to be logged in and have a public profile to make a comment on another persons work. Of course if you don't want people commenting on your work we added a preference to opt out on your 'edit profile' page under the first heading 'settings'. But that's no fun, is it? If you have any feedback or suggestions for things we can improve, you can always drop us a note here.
A new little feature we quite like is setting your local time which appears on the contact page of your profile. Granted it's no swatch internet time concept but we like the idea of highlighting the physical time difference when someone contacts you. To set your current time, login & goto my account / edit profile. Under the section 'Location' you can set your time zone.
We flipped the switch on the new Coroflot, and Monday morning has brought a flood of activity. Make sure to check out CoroSpy, a live feed of the pages currently being viewed and uploaded at the site, and the TagMap, for viewing work on Coroflot by tags. (For a list of all the new features, read our What's New page.) We want to hear your reactions to the site, so send your feedback, bugs, and suggestions right here. And remember to tag your images!
Our new site launches this coming weekend. We've posted a description of the new features for your review, and also some sample screenshots. The entire site will be offline July 15 and 16 for the transition. If you're not interested in that, check out the coroflot all-stars, for a selection of the best work on the site.
That is when coroflot v.4 will arrive. We promise. In the meanwhile check out the coroflot all-stars, we've added a few more hot portfolios to the list! And in general June saw many, many great portfolios added to the site.
This news area gets repetitive after a while - more portfolios, more jobs, more site visits - all true and good but doesn't make for good drama. If it weren't for the always-around-the-corner launch of Coroflot V.4 there'd be nothing to report at all. And now I am told that even that info-bite has reached its expiration date. We'll see. Stay tuned!
New creative portfolio uploads are approaching 1000 a month, an unprecedented pace for us. We try to check out each new member but at this rate it's tough, especially while preparing for Coroflot 4! On that tip: we'll be running a limited beta testing program this month with a roll-out quickly following (hopefully!) Keep your eyes peeled...
Another milestone for the coroflot community - 30,000 portfolios. Jobs postings are hitting record volumes as well. This is very inspiring and we hope that as we add more features to the site that the community becomes even more active and robust. Look for a sneak peek of the new site at the end of April!
Thanks to the over 2400 people who took our 2005 salary survey - it was a great success because of you. Now we are soliciting ideas on how to improve coroflot, if you have any suggestions please send them our way! And if you are looking for some inspiration check our featured artists list, we just added another 44 coroflot members!
As we fade in and out of our lingering Egg-nog tinged haze, just a quick note. Thanks to everyone who has joined up, kept up or posted up with coroflot in 2005. Even as the site grows larger n' larger we still get excited by each individual profile and every new job. So cheers to you all in the new year! (and BTW stay alert, we have some cool additions coming in '06!)
Pull up a seat and enjoy the glow of the Coroflot fire... it snaps and crackles with fresh creative fuel. Over the month of October You, dear friends, have stoked the coro-hearth with over 800 new creative profiles and 150+ job postings - the most EVAR! Bust out the marshmallows, you've earned it.
A sequel which (we hope!) recalls the simplicity of Coroflot's early years while retaining the enthralling high-tech effects of Version III. As the title suggests, this is just the starting point and we want you to be involved as we move coroflot forward from here; please email feedback and suggestions to us via our contact page. Enjoy!
Tell us what you think of the new Coroflot. We're always happy to get ideas, comments and feedback from our audience.
Remember, we have a long list of items in the development queue. We'll respond to email as best we can!
