These are just snapshots of my progress so far. The main component of the project is the "nest" or "pocket" of space.
staircase/bookshelf - the treads of the stairs also functions as shelving for feautured books
Thesis - there is no definite line of entrance into this space. the idea here was to direct people into the "nest" without being forceful.
working model - the "nest" sinks down about 1'-4" into the first floor.
