I initiated a project with some of my design school friends because i missed doing creative stuff just for the sake of it. The 5 of us are all living on different parts of the world (NZ, Melbourne, London, Amsterdam) and it was a cool way to keep in touch and to do something besides the commercial design work we do every day. End result: now we all have something pretty to hang on our living room walls!
