Take people back to their happy place through textiles that hint at a simpler time.
Trend : the world is a scary and uncertain place...bringing back what we know is safe. Elements of comfort and security through imagery of domestic utensils, traditional fabrics and classic structures.
Process: Early inspiration came from the people living in a small town in the dutch countryside called Staphorst. Very traditiaional conservative community who have a very unique textile history. By taking inspiration from these textiles and reworking them in a modern context, we invoke the Staphorst qualities into a modern product.
