(Handmade custom footwear for latin-tango dancers)
I worked as a head designer for the first collection of Danza Muerte
handmade custom shoes specialized in latin and tango dance.
Responsiible for:
- day to day running of the design office
- the creation of dance shoe collection
- market and material research
- research,design and development for less weight and extra flexibility
- colour and printing design
- sketching
- rendering

2011-12:
CAAN COMPANY
(sports company specialized in teamwear and fitness clothing).
I worked as a head designer to create the company's first ever athletic shoe production line.

Responsiible for:
- day to day running of the design office
- the creation of all seasonal shoe collections
- market and material research
- colour and printing design
- sketching
- rendering
- development design
- overviewing the shoe product line
- working closely with the production manager
and management director.

During the shoe design project I visited China where i developed my designs into proto-samples and final samples next.
The fact that i was flexible on travelling, provided me the experience to connect with the chinese local market and factories and the ability to communicate in real time about the shoe process and development.

2007-10:
Worked as a freelance designer and participated in various international shoe design competitions and design forums.
12 times finalist in "artist series" monthly shoe design contest on kicksguide.com.

2001-06:
Collaboration with Greek shoe companies as a fulltime and freelance designer.

Responsiible for:
- all seasonal collections
- ideation
- sketching
- renderings
- art direction
- development
designed and built casual n' functional footwear concepts
and developed them to prototype with the footwear designer teams.

1996-99:
Footwear design studies n' graduation from
EL.KE.DE.(Greek Institute of Leather).
Diploma in shoe design, development n' construction with the highest degree.
Awarded with the yearly scolarship to United Kindom.
