In my Bachelor I was asked to design something with the conductive thread "Bekinox" from Bekintex. My group eventually used the thread as a powerstring through Quachua tents (instead of the normal textile thread) to add light to a tent or to connect any other tools that need power. We made LED modules which can easily be clicked on anywhere on the thread in the tent. After presenting the prototype to Decathlon and at a future textile fair in 2008 in France we never heared from the company, until a year ago we saw the product on the market!
