Visual Design
Microsoft: Worked in the Customer Design Center for Windows Live Services with designers, program managers and product planning to create themes for new products. Responsible for understanding User Interface technology constraints and advantages, developing concepts for each theme, crating visual elements and applying them to the product throughout the design process.
GI Joe: Developed Hero Matrix site background and dialog window based on existing brand elements
Gierke,Curwen,Metzler & Erie, P.S.: Organized and clarified into realistic scale collision diagram/timeline from multiple statements
Ascentium: Developed style and created art for Strawberryville landing pages with navigational assets

Commissioned Art: University of Puget Sound, Prosito's Restaurant, First Night Pierce County,Tacoma Art Museum.

Teaching: General Art at The Urban Academy of Tacoma, Airbrush/Cartooning at Tacoma Community College and
Community Arts School of Tacoma, Illustration at The School Of Visual Concepts and Pacific Lutheran University. Guest
teaching and workshops at Tacoma Art Museum, Charles Wright Academy, Seattle Public Library, Cornish School of the
Arts, AIGA Design Camp, several local elementary schools and at several LINK workshops, sponsored by the Seattle AIGA.

Recognition: Interviewed by film-maker David P. Moore for documentary, "Hooked on Comics," The Comics
Journal, The Federal Way News, and The News Tribune. Seattle Public Library Panel on "Comics and the Seattle Scene."
Seen and noted by Time, The Progressive and The Village Voice. Work has appeared in How Magazine, Print,
Communication Arts, Creativity 25 and "Covers and Jackets" by Steven Heller and Anne Fink. Was a Featured contributor
and reviewer for the textbook "Exploring Illustration."

Newspaper Design Best Over-all Design, American Transit Association Best Print Media, and Art Direction Certificate of
Distinction.
