The typical design of high-rise tower that usually used the glass skin as a facade and make a great green house impact to the surrounding environment is a one big problem that hasn’t been considered by a lot of people or achitect. Actually it’s good for the building itself because all the room inside will get natural lighting all day long from the sunlight. But not for the environment, the green house effect that were made is ruining the environment. The surrounding area will get warmer and warmer. The second problem of high-rise tower (especially apartments and hotel) is the lack of natural lighting at the hallway of the typical floor. These hallway will got no natural lighting because it’s blocked by the guest room at each side of the hallway. This thing has so much effect in the energy used by the building because all the light must be turned on for 24 hours.
