SE PASSER - A global construct, a process marking the evolution of mankind, a temporal architecture. These conditions in which one can talk about globalization should manifest themselves in the architectural construct. Global architecture as a typology does not exist. In fact the only style of architecture that came close to classification as a ‘global architecture’ was the international style, in that context was irrelevant.
SE PASSER - As a movement, Modernism justified this separation in that building was monument, symbolic of the influx of capitalist ideals at the time, as well as the domination of the western world. Inevitably, economic, social and political conditions evolve. This manifestation of conditions into an architectural construct should talk about architecture as such, an ephemeral emergence of collective memories.
SE PASSER - In the same regard, global architecture can neither be termed homogenized nor regional, rather it should be temporal, evasive, in that globalization eludes to a blurring of boundaries, a system of networks working within networks, restructuring, transforming, and transposing values, ideologies, and mediating continuously among these conditions. In an age of imagery, a cultural consumption, this sensory overload should also be depicted in the global construct, making architecture a commodity.
SE PASSER - It should inevitably play on this notion, in the sense that architecture should be a medium in which one discusses an evolution, a moment in time looking for the next moment. Technology manifests this in its networks recalling poetry in the interstitial conditions inherent to the Net, where un-defined thresholds are crossed repeatedly. As an investigative tool for mapping, the construct then became a game in which site derivative had to equal intercession and interstitial qualities.

ken-ta-ner - The project kan-ta-ner is a library set along Colfax in Denver, Colorado. This investigation asked the question, what is a library and what should it house in the twenty-first century?
ken-ta-ner - A library is a housing of ideas.... ideas set apart and are affected by interaction. This interaction, both physical and virtual, describes the tension between today’s digital consumption based world and yesterday’s bound and preserved world. As a vessel for ideas, one must first understand the essence and energy of an idea. Ideas become synergized when they collide, mutate, circulate, and transfigure amongst bodies.
