My most recent work has really emphasized the idea of wearing multiple hats and adjusting to the environment of the project at hand. I have had the privilege of working with many cross functional teams, researchers, and entrepreneurs with fascinating ideas in the wearable technology industry for the last 5 years.

Most wearable products are either soft goods or hard goods. I have had to work in the messy middle—integrating textiles with electronics, sensors, and functional components.

This required fluency across multiple disciplines: understanding how fabrics perform under stress and movement, how components function and integrate, and how to make them function together on real bodies. I use pattern making, anthropometric analysis, and technical construction methods to solve integration challenges that wouldn't have off-the-shelf answers.

I translate between soft goods and hard goods teams, working in CLO3D, Optitex, Rhino, and SolidWorks to prototype and refine solutions from concept through production.
