For this project, they would require a product design that was much thicker than their traditional smooth and simple razors. The challenge was to maintain the brands styling on this chunkier body. Sweeping lines and contrasting colours were used to break up the form and create a streamlining effect on the underside. The darker section at the rear was allocated in TPE to provide a rubbery grip and establish a more premium feel to the product design. Concepts were presented to King of Shaves by a well established product manager within the shaving industry.
