• Producing and managing a wide variety of projects for local and international business.

Media Lecturer : Cambridge Regional College : May 2009 to December 2009
• Lecturing, assignment writing and lesson planning on Print & Production Techniques, Website Creation and Research Techniques in Media at National Diploma level.

Designer : Cream Group Ltd, Cambridgeshire : March 2007 to October 2008 (Made redundant)
• Created and implemented a wide variety of print and online products for their large client base.
• Checked and prepared all artwork sent to print.
• Shared aspects of studio management including project timetabling and archiving.
• Responsible for introducing project specific questionnaires leading to more satisfied clients,shorter project times and better revenues.
• Brought web design in-house, leading to an increase in revenue.
• Managed the creation and development of the company’s five new websites including the sourcing and management of specialist personnel.

Design Consultant : March 2003 to February 2007

• Produced work for many local and international clients including the BBC, respected sculptor Matthew Lane Sanderson and highly successful major region wide projects for Cambridge County Council.
• Undertook major extended contract for Logotron Software (Cambridge) working on a wide variety of software and marketing projects.

Design & Training Manager : Vellum Software Ltd, Cambridge : July 1999 to March 2003 (Company folded due to management breakup)
I fulfilled two roles within Vellum.

As Design Manager:
• Organised and carried out extensive market research prior to devising advertising and promotional strategies.
• Created all artwork for marketing purposes and training manuals.
• Proofed and/or wrote editorial submissions.
• Liaised with submissions editors and marketing departments.

As Training Manager:
• Oversaw the execution of software training and technical support for all clients.
• Ran on and off site training for individuals and groups of up to twenty in 2D and 3D design software packages.
• Majority of clients were product designers or architects including Conran Design, Tom Dixon and Design Bridge, as well as educational establishments such as Eton, Radley School and many Universities.
• Organised and ran seminars, sales demonstrations and company presentations at exhibitions.
• Designed and wrote two highly popular add-ons enabling faster image rendering - purchased by 80% plus of worldwide users.
• Trained and managed junior staff for support and training purposes.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver & Acrobat Pro / Quark XPress / HTML and CSS coding / Some knowledge of Flash, Final Cut Pro and various CAD modelling packages / Adept on both Mac and Windows platforms.
